Part 4: Free Church Website Graphics and Galleries
| Church Website Builder Basics Series
One of the biggest challenges of creating a new website for your Church is graphics.
- How do you find or take great quality pictures?
- Which ones should we choose?
- How do they fit into the design of the website?
There is a continuing debate about if you should use stock photos or actually take pictures of people in your Church to put on your website.
I guess it depends on how ugly the people in your Church are right? Of course, I am only half kidding.
You do not really have to put any photos of people on your Church website if you do not want. You can just have graphics of sermon series and promotions, but that is not really very engaging. It also does not give potential new visitors a good feel as to whether they would like your Church.
Even if you do not put pictures of your services or individuals on your front page, you will most likely want to have somewhere on your website to display these to give people an idea of what your events and services are like.
Random pictures of people in your Church are not the real problem with your website design however. It is much more difficult to find and put graphics together to form the actual look and feel of your website.
